Imagination part 5

To know is nothing at all, to imagine is everything.
-Anatole France

Financial Success is not difficult to achieve after one learns how to make use of creative imagination.

The seed of the idea has been here sown. It is yours for the taking! someone with an inventive mind is going to make a fortune.

The more simple and easily adapted to a need an idea is, the greater is its value, as no one is looking for ideas that are involved with great detail or are in any way complicated.

Imagination and salesmanship
Imagination is the most important factor of entering into the art of selling. The master salesperson is always the one who makes systematic use of imagination. The outstanding merchant relies upon imagination for the ideas that make their business excel.

A sense of curiosity is nature's original school of education
-Smiley Blanton

Dream. Dream Big Dreams! others may deprive you of your material wealth and cheat you in a thousand ways. But no man can deprive you of the control and use of your imagination Men may deal with you unfairly, As men often do; They may deprive you of your liberty; but they cannot take from you the privilege of using your imagination. In your imagination you always win!
-Jesse Jackson

Great achievement is usually born of great sacrifices, and never the result of selfishness.

The goods you are selling may be actually worth all you are asking for them, but if you do not carefully study the subjects of displaying and packaging, you may be accused of overcharging your customers.

People love to buy appearance or atmosphere, which is simply a more refined way of saying what P.T Barnum said about "one being born every minute."

CAN A FIRM ALWAYS SPOT THE NEXT GREAT TRADER?

No. But a prop firm can tell who has a poor chance to become a CPT. To be good at anything will take everything you have. Not having developed the skills to work hard is a turn-off. Trading is a skill learned by doing, not just by reading a lot, theorizing, or the faux art of “paper trading.” THE PROS AND CONS OF RECRUITING EXPERIENCED TRADERS Loyalty is a good thing to a point, but it cannot trump logistics and reality. losing money should really bother you. If I am negative three days in a row, I spend a long evening on my couch with a bottle of red wine and comfort food. As traders, we can all recite the memorable line from Wall Street: “A man looks in the abyss, there is nothing staring back at him. At that moment he discovers his character. That keeps the man out of the abyss.”  Traders don’t talk about how they want to trade, what they want to read about trading, or how they wish they could talk about trading. Traders trade, read about trading, and talk about trading.

Disciplined Trader Chapter 2

The following typical trading errors have a specific cause rooted in a thinking methodology that can be changed. 1. Refusing to define a loss. 2. Not liquidating a losing trade, even after you have acknowledged the trade's potential is greatly diminished. 3. Getting locked into a specific opinion or belief about market direction. From a psychological perspective this is equivalent to trying to control the market with your expectation of what it will do: "I'm right, the market is wrong." 4. Focusing on price and the monetary value of a trade, instead of the potential for the market to move based on its behavior and structure. 5. Revenge-trading as if you were trying get back at the market for what it took away from you. 6. Not reversing your position even when you clearly sense a change in market direction. 7.
